My Irish Escape!

Summer 2011 most defiantly deserves some recognition for being a truly spectacular one. I ended the school year with a 4.0, got engaged to my awesome dude, and I spent the last five beautiful weeks in Ireland. Why Ireland you might ask? I have an amazing friend who lives there. :) Bonus, I got to travel there with my lovely best friend! :) I will admit, I had no idea what to expect, except for it's iconic green landscapes. Yes, the green landscapes are breathtaking, tons of different shades of green all flowing together seamlessly. However, there is more to the country then just that! The people, the cities, the seaside, the history, the pubs, the music, the dancing! I've never met such polite people in my life, nor have I seen cities so beautiful. Everywhere you go there is history just waiting to be shared. I'm so blessed to have had five weeks to soak it all in, and to spend it with the lovely family I went to visit. A New Chapter In My Life

As my last summer in Florida comes to an end, I've decided it's time to start a blog on the new chapter unfolding in my life. I guess a little background would make this story a little less cloudy for some. I'm a 19 year old girl living in southern Florida, I'm a dedicated college student, studying psychology and criminal justice. I'm engaged to a truly amazing dude. Not only is he my fiance, he's my best friend, and a United States Marine.(Poor guy has a lot of jobs) He is currently stationed in Southern California, and will be deploying soon for the next eight(or so) months. However, we've decided to get married civilly before then and have a traditional wedding next summer. During the next ten months I will be finishing my associates degree, planning a wedding, and heading off to California to start turning a house into our home.
