My Irish Escape!

Summer 2011 most defiantly deserves some recognition for being a truly spectacular one. I ended the school year with a 4.0, got engaged to my awesome dude, and I spent the last five beautiful weeks in Ireland. Why Ireland you might ask? I have an amazing friend who lives there. :) Bonus, I got to travel there with my lovely best friend! :) I will admit, I had no idea what to expect, except for it's iconic green landscapes. Yes, the green landscapes are breathtaking, tons of different shades of green all flowing together seamlessly. However, there is more to the country then just that! The people, the cities, the seaside, the history, the pubs, the music, the dancing! I've never met such polite people in my life, nor have I seen cities so beautiful. Everywhere you go there is history just waiting to be shared. I'm so blessed to have had five weeks to soak it all in, and to spend it with the lovely family I went to visit. I got to see a good majority of the country. I encourage anyone looking for a great getaway to consider Ireland. I picked some of my favorite pictures from my trip to share with you guys. I'm planning on blowing up a few of these on canvas for the house next summer.  Hope you enjoy them. :)

A Weekend In The District With Rina

This past weekend one of my very best friends, Marina, came to visit me at my new home in DC. I'm so lucky to have such adventurous and dedicated friends. We explored the city I now live in, took the metro for the very first time, went sightseeing all through DC, and checked out the local night life. We even tried the rent-a-bikes all through the National Mall.(so much fun I recommend it!) Lastly we adventured to nova for some wine tasting!  Miss you already <3
