February Wrap Up

Wow I haven't posted in so long, this month has flown by! Between school and work, there is never a dull moment! But I love it! My bean is still gone, only a few more months till I get to hug him and never let go. :-p I'm so very proud of my dood! He's a great guy :) I cannot believe how fast this deployment is going I feel like i'm running out of time to prepare for him to come home! I'm heading to california in the beginning of march to look at apartments and schools with my wonderful in laws! I'm super excited but a little nervous, I want to find the perfect first apartment for Carlos and I! Between school and work, i've been desperately trying to find time work out, and I'm finally managing to get up and jog. I'm also in the midst of learning to cook! Like I said, never a dull moment. And last but not least, I picked a official date for our church wedding, November 30th 2012! I'm so excited for Carlos and I to finally tie the knot in front of family and friends! I cannot wait to wear my beautiful wedding dress! The only surprise I have ever been able to keep from my dood is what my wedding dress looks like! :-p Anyways, here are some pictures to bring my month a live for you, enjoy!
The ingredients to my daily smoothie, gets me going in the morning!

My favorite days include riding boots and red lips!

My first attempt at fried wontons was actually amazing!
Super duper yummy, a little on the unhealthy side, but I'd
make them for dinner every once and a while with dude!

My wonton soup, was delicious and healthy! Easy to make,
definitely making it for my bean.

How I've signed every single card to my husband since
bootcamp with the addition of wifey. :)

Morning stretches to start my day off right!

My dood sent me these beautiful roses for valentines day! I cannot
believe he was so thoughtful considering he is so busy! Im a
lucky gal. <3

My beautiful north south black hamilton with gold hardware
This is perfection. <3

Rockin my hamilton and riding boots, great combo!

Finally got to lay out in the sun! Felt amazing, got a little burnt
but getting to relax was worth it.

Most exciting think I have learned this semester: Fishtail braid.

Took my amazing mom out to lunch to celebrate my tax return!
Any reason for mom and daughter time we will take!

A Weekend In The District With Rina

This past weekend one of my very best friends, Marina, came to visit me at my new home in DC. I'm so lucky to have such adventurous and dedicated friends. We explored the city I now live in, took the metro for the very first time, went sightseeing all through DC, and checked out the local night life. We even tried the rent-a-bikes all through the National Mall.(so much fun I recommend it!) Lastly we adventured to nova for some wine tasting!  Miss you already <3
