This past weekend one of my dearest friends Jamie came out to california for vacation. We decided it would be fun to go camping in Yosemite. Normally in california it never rains and its the perfect temperature, but the more north we drove the colder and rainy it got. By the time we entered the park it was snowing. For me, it was the first time I have ever really got to play in snow and we were really enjoying ourselves. We had an amazing time and took tons of pictures. By night time however, we realized camping was not for us! Turns out 23 degree weather and two girls from Florida does not mix well. By the early hours of the morning we gave up on our attempt to sleep in the tent and ran into our heated secure car. While we tried to get comfortable in the car we heard a noise and to our shock watched a black bear go thru our campsite! We were so scared and worried about the boys in the tent but luckily after a few minutes the bear moved on. After surviving the night we were so ready to pack up camp and head back to sunny warm socal. Today we are recovering from our amazing yet freezing camping trip. Here are some of the pictures we took hope you all enjoy!
This past weekend one of my very best friends, Marina, came to visit me at my new home in DC. I'm so lucky to have such adventurous and dedicated friends. We explored the city I now live in, took the metro for the very first time, went sightseeing all through DC, and checked out the local night life. We even tried the rent-a-bikes all through the National Mall.(so much fun I recommend it!) Lastly we adventured to nova for some wine tasting! Miss you already <3
